Nemberala Beach Resort is at
the south-western tip of Roti island, the southern-most point of
the Indonesian archipelago, catching the full force of Indian Ocean
swells. The best surfing is from April to October, when southeast
Trade Winds are offshore at most of the breaks. |

Numerous other breaks can be reached with a short boat ride, including the long, steep, fast right off Do'o Island, and some snappy rights off N'Dau Island. The resort's high speed dinghy and skilled staff will get you and your boards to the best breaks every day. Swell and met forecasts are available every evening, and our manager will help you plan your surf sessions for the following morning, using his extensive experience surfing this area. |

The villas at Nemberala Beach Resort are newly constructed
in local stone with natural timber finishes and traditional Rotinese
thatched alang roofs. Each villa has its own shaded porch, garden
and private open-air bathroom. Facilities include ceiling fan, mosquito
nets and tropical décor. All villas overlook the white sand
beach and feature views of the sea and the surf on one side, with
the swimming pool and patio on the other side. Villas are duplex units
that can be joined to accommodate families or groups of friends. |

Our open-air restaurant specializes in local seafood and Asian cuisine - a favourite is sashimi from the day's catch. The beachfront bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cold beer or a cocktail while you watch the waves peeling off the reef and the sunset over the Indian Ocean. |  |

The free-form swimming pool is surrounded by a patio paved in natural stone and shaded by palm trees. Sunbake, read, relax. Take a drink from the bar, stroll to the beach or dip in the pool. |  |

It's a short walk to nearby Nemberala village, with its friendly people, whitewashed church and colourful market. Stroll along miles of white sand beaches, walk out over the reef at low tide, or take a boat to explore uninhabited offshore islands and go snorkeling in the warm tropical waters. |  |

| The resort is on the island of Roti in the Nusa Tenggara region of Indonesia. The usual holiday package includes an overnight stay in Bali, a Merpati flight from Bali to Kupang in West Timor, overnight stay in Kupang, fast ferry from Kupang to Ba'a (on the northwest side of Roti), shuttle bus to Nemberala, and ten nights at the resort. Longer or shorter trips can be arranged. Return travel includes accommodation in Bali, with the possibility of additional days for more surfing and sightseeing. Trips to Nemberala Beach Resort are sold as a package including accommodation, all meals, transfers, surf guides and boat access to T-Lands. Excursions, fishing trips and boat access to more distant breaks can be arranged at the resort at reasonable rates. |
