and discover the real Maldives. |

Discover the Real Maldives
|
 |
If you want to see the real
Maldives and experience island life beyond the resorts, a cruise
on the Stella could be perfect for you.
With just one double cabin and one twin, this
luxury boat lets you plan your own itinerary through the inner atolls,
stopping at your choice of surf spots and dive sites.
The Dhoni Stella offers access to local islands where you can discover
the daily life of Maldivian villages, see traditional boat building
and taste the typical food of Maldivian families. |
|
 |
Hit the breaks in North Male' Atoll in luxury, live-aboard
style. Get to great waves like Chickens and Colas before the resort
boats arrive, and enjoy sunset sessions after the day-trippers have
left.
Cruise three hours further south and explore the lesser
known reefs of South Male' Atoll. The breaks are usually smaller,
but they're an excellent alternative when the swell is up, and a
great option for the casual surfer who wants an easy, uncrowded
wave.(Click here for more about Maldives
Surf). |
 |
 |
The boat captain is a qualified divemaster who
knows the atolls and coral reefs, and the best sites for snorkeling
or diving (international diving certificate required for scuba diving).
You can also fish from the boat, and have your catch cooked fresh
for dinner.
In the evening your boat can stop at a resort, so
you can enjoy drinks at a bar, a disco night or a cultural show. The
itinerary is flexible, depending on the weather and sea conditions
and the wishes of the guests. |

power at night without generator noise or vibration. The timber-lined
cabins are fully air-conditioned and feature flat-screen TV with DVD,
en-suite bathroom, security safe and a choice of queen or twin beds, |

The chef on board offers a fine selection of international
cuisine and local dishes, with seafood a speciality. Water, tea and
coffee are included during meals, and there's a selection of wine,
beer and cocktails available in the dining room and from the bar.
A 210 hp Yanmar diesel engine gives Stella a speed of 13 knots. Other
equipment includes an on board desalinator, diesel generator, 165
